seekingelfElspeth is being canon updated to post-Stone Key! Nothing especially exciting will happen, she just woke up with bonus memories. Because I finally got around to reading a book that had been sitting on my shelf for three years. That thing was huge, okay. And full of feelings.
This really... means nothing to anyone but me. But it puts her in a better place, emotionally, so that's nice. For me. And I will be making detailed notes for myself somewhere because SO MANY THINGS. Yes that is how you spend a hiatus.
The book itself takes place over a ridiculously short time period for the amount of shenanigans that happened, so my tentative age guess is still reasonably accurate. One day I will post an epic whinge post about ages in the Obernewtyn Chronicles because it is so frustrating. Anyway. Elspeth is now suddenly (not much) older and a actually quite a lot wiser! Seriously, I think about three characters told her she was too young to be so wise. D'awww.
Now someone app Maruman and Gahltha because they are the cutest.
